“Beneath We’re all the Same”

It’s the simplest of truths but we all look different on the outside but under our skin color we are truly the same. When I was creating this piece I was thinking about children and how this piece is a way to begin a conversation about race with kids as well as having that child-like interaction. This piece can be hung on the wall and then taken down to hold up to the light or it could live in the window and glow with the heart throughout the day and then turn to beautiful opaque black at night.

100% of the proceeds from this series will go to the following charities that aid in the fight and future of communities of color. Movement for Black Lives, The Love Land Foundation and The Conscious Kid.
